SHEPHERD DEVELOPMENT
We provide students the depth of knowledge they need to understand the "why" and subsequent "how" to maximize their performance behind the gun. Through 12 years of professional and competition use of firearms, we seek to instill in others the value of knowledge and focused effort in the right areas. With virtual, private or class settings, we offer practical and professional training for law enforcement, military and armed professionals that can be arranged anywhere in the world.

What`s your take?
You can checkout the video on YouTube for the glory of full screen 480p bodycam footage and higher chances of this video not being banned within 12 seconds of release.
This is the actual work. A view of a super-duper motivated "full-body" dryfire workout while on the road. If you want to know what a normal daily dryfire session looks like, just isolate a 5% chunk of any part of this video.
As fun as it is to be super-duper motivated and pump out a long dryfire session, this is not a sustainable way to train, nor will it give you as much focused improvement when you`re squishing every facet of shooting into one session. Do a little, a lot, and write down the wins. Godspeed 🫡
My attempts at staying relevant to the internet last summer. Thanks to you all for putting these out there and keeping the bar set high! 🫡

I`m sorry to all of you guys for how long this took to get uploaded. It`s been a chaotic season and I was also hoping to get the patches in hand to showcase them.
Never waste those first rounds.
What is your go-to cold start drill?
This one here is a retreating bill drill (6 rounds from the holster) starting at 3 meters, and then a run back to 12 meters to deliver 2 rounds to the credit card. Or, reverse it to start at 12 meters with the two rounds and run up to 3 meters for an advancing bill drill.

New drill: "The SIMO Bill"
Find a buddy and a BULLIT company that you can run a simo Bill with and walk away smiling. Goal is to synchronize the ending and still run it sub 2.0s.
It took 4 attempts to synchronize a 1.66 with only 6 shots showing on the timer - so I think we got lucky, but this was pretty fun!!
+rep to @hotsauce_mike for exchanging at least a hundred airsoft BB`s to the fingers before this video. All for the community science project coming down the pipe in a few months 👨🔬
Thanks @fhmunition for keeping us sharp 🫶
Understanding my own drill.
I originally thought the Trials were a lesson of focus and being entirely in the moment to make the shots. Of course, this is an element of it, but you could be entirely focused and still lack the required abilities to guarantee the result.
Performing "on-demand" means you need to know your own abilities and limitations. With this thoroughly honest self-awareness you can then look at a shooting problem and guarantee a solution.
The unfortunate thing in reality is we don`t know what the shooting problem will be, which means the solution required may be outside the realm of our guarantee to solve it. Pushing our guarantee to the highest level possible takes a whole lot of work before the day it is required, because you can`t just grit through a difficult hostage rescue shot on your willpower alone.
Knowing your guarantee will bring a reduction of tension, increase in focus and go a long way with actually delivering the performance you want.
If you`ve run the Trials, what did you learn from them?
